FileFetcherFamily, qu'est-ce que c'est?

The File Fetcher Family is a family of programs I've written.

They have a lot in common but before today they were not a family. Well - now they are. The main reason it took me so long is that the command FileSystem.DeleteFile(FileName, UIOption.OnlyErrorDialogs, RecycleOption.SendToRecycleBin) was not contained in a dll that was active by default. And to really mess me up the command is in a namespace that is partially active by default.

To make a long story short: I found it in Visual Basic .NET, but not in C#. Sounds like an oxymoron, and indeed - it was.

Here is a little screenshot of them all in one session (if you know what you are looking at you may see the dirty trick I do in my linking - it is because I want each little program to be stand alone and not dependent on any of the others).

The future of the family

I might sound like a Christian republican on too much Prozac, but I believe in the family - at least this family.

The goal is to expand it with Text To Txet, and perhaps with Omyv Manages Your Version.
